Today is October 2.
Not much happened since yesterday.
So we had to go to the hospital again
and do pretty much what we did yesterday again.
Here’s a picture of Jurga by the nice basinet thingy that my grandmother and
Aunt Barbara fixed up.
This little bed was my first bed
when I was born. It was also my brother’s
first bed. And it was my cousin Bobby’s
first bed. So it’s kind of a tradition
now.
When we got to the hospital, they
hooked Jurga up to this machine again.
She sported a cheerful but
determined demeanor.
Jurga had
to relax for a bit after they did that thing again that I’m not allowed to
watch.
I think she had a pretty good time
lying there.
And then they told us to walk around
a bit. So we went to have ice cream.
After we came back, they monitored Jurga for a bit and then sent us home.
On the way out, we met a stork. I still don’t get how the stork is involved.
The nurse told us that Jurga should walk around.
So I suggested that we walk from the hospital to the O-Train.
Jurga was
a ray of sunshine on an otherwise cloudy day.
We caught the O-Train at the Carling
station.
We didn’t have to wait very long.
But I was eager to get home and have
a late lunch.
My dad drove us home from the
O-Train stop.
Jurga
called “shotgun”, so I had to let her have the front seat.
My mom just took everything in
stride.
In the mean time, my dad went to
make supper.
