Today is October 1.
It is also Jurgita’s birthday.
Hooray! It is also ten days past
Jurgita’s due date. So today we had to
go get her induced. Click on the
pictures below to see some images from today’s fun adventure!
Here’s a picture of Jurga driving to
the hospital!
The bump was safely buckled in.
The road was foggy…
but Jurga was in high spirits when
we arrived at the hospital.
She bravely waited to be induced.
I tried to put myself in her place.
And then they hooked Jurga up to the
machine that goes “ping”.
Actually, it doesn’t go “ping”. It sounds more like a helicopter.
And then they did something with
this, but Jurga didn’t let me watch.
And then they had her take it easy.
I watched over her and made sure
everything was alright.
But everything was in hand.
Jurga continued to take it easy.
She’s so cool!
And then we had lunch. Pizza.
Mmmm…tasty!
That cinnamon pastry looks
good. Can I have a bite?
And then we went back, but had to
wait in the waiting room for a bit.
And then they hooked her up to the
machine. It told us that everything is
OK.
We
were told that we could go home.
It turned out to be a bright, sunny
day after all!
Chances
are that Jurga will only deliver the following day.
